The 1/4" bend in the steering rack has been fixed by judicious use of an oxy-acetylene torch and pushing the end while the appropriate spot was about cherry red. I got it to within about 1/32"(even less if considering only the teeth area). Now, I need to find out what to use for lubrication. Haynes and Bentley say grease and The Roadster Factory says 90 wt oil. It seems as though the oil would provide more thorough coverage, but be more prone to leaking. Any comments will be appreciated.
