Hi List:
I took some time tonight to add some pictures to the triumphowners web
site below. I created two new folders of pictures. The first is a few
images of my recent clutch woes. Included is a picture of the dreaded
broken clutch pin and also a picture of the clutch disc with broken
springs. One final note to this saga. After trying the conventional
way of bleeding the clutch by depressing the clutch pedal I decided to
get a little creative. So this time I wired the clutch slave cylinder
pushrod so that it wouldnt move and then proceeded to take off the
clutch slave cylinder from the gearbox. I tilted the SC down until it
was vertical and then tapped lightly on the side and a lone bubble came
floating out and up the plastic line. I am not sure if the slave
cylinder was just tilted slightly the wrong way and wouldnt allow the
bubble out via normal bleeding procedures. Thought I would pass along
that little tidbit.
I also added a handful of pictures from the recent British Invasion in
Stowe, Vermont.
As soon as I find the time I will also post a few more TR6 ads that I
have collected but have not placed online yet.
Cheers.
