Thanks to everyone who responded to my first request. I've determined that
the brake lights are actually coming on even with the tail lights. The
brightness of the tail lights seems to overwhelm the brake lights, however.
The tail lights seem unusually bright. (I did replace both bulbs yesterday
when I started troubleshooting the brake light situaion). I'll keep
checking grounds.
Oh yeah-the backup lights don't work either!
