I was plagued with this early this year. Sump would fill with gas... Wasn't
the pump, was actually a dirty needle valve in the carbs. I isolated it by
pulling the bottom plugs from the strommies and putting tuna cans under each
to catch the drips. Took about an hour to identify the front carb as the
culprit. I removed carb, disassembled as necc. to get to the needle valve
and used compressed air to clean it out.. Okay since then...
