Bill,
You most likely have two TR5 hoses there.  After the original TR6 hoses dried 
up years ago someone came up with a supply of the shorter hoses that were 
used on the TR5 so a bunch of us originality nuts put two together.  I have 
been 
running the same two hoses on my TR250 for 7 to 8 years now.
