Mike C,

I was fighting a case of the low rpm stutters for a long time.  I tried
Dick's suggestion of shortening the tang on the rotor which did not cure my
problem.  After replacing the Echlin cap (again) AND gapping my plugs down
from close to 0.040 to 0.030 (I'm running Magnecor KV85 cables and
Pertronix), the stutter is gone.
