Peter-This is slightly off subject, but if you are crossing the border at 
Blaine, be prepared for 1-2 hours of  clutch slipping, temp gauge climbing,  
traffic snarl. It is especially bad on week ends. The border crossing at Lyndon 
was much less crowded and went very smoothly on the return trip. Also, be 
prepared to show a passport.
