Powder Coating Steering rack

Hello List

While the front-end is out, I've decided to get the steering rack powder 
coated as well (might as well do the job right first time around!).

Has anyone taken the rack apart to powder coat?  How difficult is it to 
reassemble, etc. The rack is in great shape otherwise with zero free play.
