Friends:
Another lister said he has the opposite problem of mine. His two sons, ages 4
and 6, are more than willing to help Dad! (In all fairness, it sounds like the
foundation of a wonderful father\sons hobby.)
I'm not sure which would be harder to deal with - small children who want to
"help", or family members who make decidedly "un-helpful" sarcastic comments.
"Will this thing ever run?" "Now HOW MUCH did you pay for this?" "It looks like
a bomb went off in the car!" "Why did you buy it and proceed to take it apart?"
And the very worst is, "Why didn't you buy a Miata?"
ARRRRGH!!!!!! (accompanying sound of a head banging on a wall)
Woe to the unbelievers who do not worship at the alter of the Dark Lord Lucas!!
It's enough to get a man drinking. Time to unscrew another bottle of
Thunderbird (March 05 vintage).
