Should I use the same stuff as for the undercoating? I don't want to use
Satin back enamel from a rattle can....

Subject: Undercoating ramblings
Folks:
The car has been back from the paint shop a couple of weeks now,
and I need to think about undercoating the fenders and what not. I have
been considering the truck bed liner paint, which is a latex(?) based
rubber coating. There is also an asphalt based undercoating compound I
have seen that would be very similar to the OEM stuff.
Basically I want something I can brush or roll on. Black of
course, preferably satin type finish.
What have people used? Ease of application? Durability? Brand?
Any recommendations appreciated.
