Hugh,
Do you think Kastner was considering the extra 3.7cc volume when he described 
"finished cylinder head with valves seated" = 41.6 cc  for a C.R. of 10.25:1? 
 My combustion chamber volumes are 44cc.  I figured (with stock bore) that my 
C.R. was about 9.4:1.  If I add 3.7 ccs for the gasket, my ratio is 
significantly less than I thought. I didn't think he was adding in the gasket 
volume.
