Vance, You are correct about the vacuum being applied to the port, not pressure. I was able to clear the port by putting a rubber tipped nozzle on the air blower and holding it against the port to seal it. When I pulled the trigger, something came out of the top of the float bowl. Not sure what it was. Could have been bug bits. The carbs were off the car for about two years, so something may have made a home in there. Putting it back together tonight. Thanks, Bud |
