OK. Think head. Think valve train. Think rocker shaft. There is SUPPOSED
to be a screw to attach the shaft to the rear pylon, but mine ain't there!

I was adjusting valves yesterday. Finished, drove around the block and heard
a wierd clatter sound from the valve cover. Removed it, and started
checking. Rocker shaft had eased forward, and the cotter pin was rubbing
against the valve cover. That's when I discoved the missing screw.

Where did it go? Is it possible it has beem missing all along? I have looked
for it, but can't find it. Could it have dropped down one of the push rods,
and be restinh on the cam? Should I try to fish for it with a magnet? HELP!

Thanks as always. Kevin
