This is really a long shot, but I remember that a few years ago, there was a
problem with the vent hole in the cap of the TR250/6 brake master cylinders
being sold at the time. The problem was that there wasn't one. I don't remember
what the symptoms were, as I only heard about it but didn't experience it. But
if the cylinder isn't venting properly, perhaps the brake fluid (oooops, sorry,
fluif) isn't returning to the m/c as per normal when you get off of the brake
pedal, at least until enough pressure bleeds off to release the calipers. One
way to check that would be to have the calipers lock up again, and then see
what happens when you unscrew the m/c cap. If that is the case, the cure is to
drill the missing vent hole in the cap. BTW, I have had silicone brake fluif in
my TR6 for over 10 years, without any problems.
