Hi Bob,

I just did this on my 250 in prep for a new top. The rear channel is held by
5 bolts that can be reached from inside the car (with the top up). Once you
have this loose. Remove 2 of the 3 machine screws holding each of the side
brackets. For removing the last screw on each side, you may want a helper to
hold the loose side (or not, mine stuck to the vinyl holding it in place).
Unless the machine screws are rusted, they should not take much work to
remove. The top just lifts off.

FYI, I am planning to use ss replacements for all bolts/screws on the frame.
