Ron:
There is some pretty good information here:
http://www.vtr.org/maintain/paint-guide-tr6.html
http://www.vtr.org/maintain/paint-charts/index.html
It doesn't have everything, but it is a start. There are scanned
paint chips, and DuPont color codes available from the second URL.

Subject: 71TR6 Paint & Trim Question
Hello all- I'm just about to the point of painting the 1971 TR6 I'm
restoring and have some questions on paint colors that I'll list below.
There are currently 3 coats of paint on it (damson, signal red &
pimento) that will be soda stripped so I'm starting from scratch.
1) Is the windshield frame flat, semi-gloss or gloss black?
2) Is the convertible top frame flat, semi-gloss or gloss black?
3) Is the front grill and frame flat, semi-gloss or gloss black?
4) What about the rear end outer valence- flat, satin, or semi-gloss?
5) What are the PPG or Dupont paint codes for Triumph Signal Red?
6) The car currently has paint applied over what appears to be undercoat
on the rocker panels. Is this normal?
Any and all answers to the above or other guidance are greatly
appreciated!
