hey guys

some of you may recall about 5 months ago when i posted about my frame
cracking due to the one-piece bracket-style rear tube shock conversion on
my car.
at the time, i had the shop that handled the welding repair and diff mount
install to ditch the tube conversions and go with brand new lever arms.
recently i hit a pothole or something in the road, and one of the shocks
blew. what's difference between a heavy-duty vs. new standard - are the
seals thicker, or is there a more viscous oil used in them? i'm thinking
of just getting some rebuilt heavy duty's. i also noticed the bump stop
cone on that side was totally cracked...so i got a new kit of those
puppies ready to intall too.
