Gentlemen, et al,
According to the tech section on the Moss Motors website, if your
differential/rear axle/gearbox oil seals are leaking, the seals themselves may
not be at
fault. A plugged breather may be causing pressure buildup within the unit,
forcing oil past the seals. The recommended fix is to locate the breather,
clean
around it, and remove it from the case. Clean the breather thoroughly,
ensuring that it is not plugged, and reinstall it.
Has anyone tried this and found it helpful? Where is the "breather" located?
TIA
Steve
