Folks:
Well, I am getting lots of requests for copies of the articles
from the Buckeye web site, since the wayback machine seems to no longer
be working (?) and the Buckeye web site has pulled them off their
server. Does anyone know if this is correct - the page doesn't seem to
work for me.
Well, in any event, I have posted some of the articles (as many
as I had space for) on my web page. At this time, in order to show some
respect for the author's concerns, I have password protected them. So
not just any weenie can get at them, hopefully. Nelson never did answer
my question about whether we could repost them. He just said he wasn't
going to post them any longer, because of lawsuit concerns.
I am handing out the password to list members. "6pack". Case
sensitive (My IPS uses LINUX). I realize the article you want may not be
posted, sorry that was all I could squeeze into the 25 MB of space I am
allocated. They are all Zipped to save space. Many of them have missing
images, but that is the fault of the wayback machine, not mine. I also
tried to select articles that are the most broadly useful. So there are
no Overdrive articles since Overdrive is only on a minority of TR6s.
Brakes on the other hand are on every car, so all the articles are
there.
If anyone out there can get Nelson to talk to them, and can get
him to say if the content can be posted sans his name, please let me
know. Perhaps the 6pack server itself can host the content? Pro'lly has
more space than my web page....
