 Vic:

When you say "failed" what do you mean? Does it leak?
Is the oil light staying on? Off? Does the anti-run on valve
quit working? What are the symptoms?

        Thanks,

        Vance

Subject: Oil pressure switch

Listers,
My oil pressure switch has failed annually for the last 5 years. Just

replaced this year's switch yesterday. Anyone else experiencing this ?
Any ideas
as to the cause ? I have purchased them from the Big 3 and local Advance
Auto
stores. TRF's lasted a little longer than the others.
I'm running Castrol 20W50, have good indicated oil pressure, and a
minimum
of electrical issues.
