According to the" Triumph  TR5/250  and TR6 Companion "By Steve Rossi and Ian
Clarke;   the leyland logos were added to the front fenders in 1972.  In 73
the Union Jack was added to mark triumph 50 anniversary. and 20th year of TR
production.
The dress up accessary stripe kit was optionally  available as a dealer add on
in 1972.
