Sam,
I don't think that the gas in Tahoe is any different than that down by the
ocean. While I've never driven a TR in Tahoe, I traveled there from SF many
times and never had a real significant power loss at lakeside. Going up
over the passes you would tend to notice it but I don't think you will have
to many issues with getting the cheap gas from Tulsa.
