Hi Bob,
Boy, what a mess. It's hard to imagine how much oil came out of that little
pipe in such a short time. My wife is complaining about the number of paper
towels I've used already. I hope I can get at the back of the gauge without
taking the dash apart. I was able to disconnect the coupling at the back of
the gauge through the ash tray without too much trouble. My wife has smaller
hands, so when I get the part, I might let her give it a try. She may also be
able to unscrue the furl-nuts which hold the gauge in place. I hate to have to
remove the dash. It seems I have a terrible time getting the speedo and tach
in and out. Wish me luck
