Gary---I don't think the Grose jet is any less liable to stick (from dirt, or whatever) than the needle kind. The advantage, for those engines that demand more fuel in a hurry, is the Grose jet's design to flow more fuel per pound of pressure, when its ball drops. WOT conditions.
