Crane XR700 vs XR 3000

Aloha listers,

Question for you...  I purchased what I thought was going to be a Crane XR3000
from someone that turned out to be a XR700.  The person who sold it to me has
agreed to take it back but before I do,  I would really appreciate
understanding how significant a difference there is between the two.

I've looked through the archives and most of the posts I've found were with
respect to the 700.  All comments are appreciated.
