John---We know a vacuum is there when a leak is present at the intake manifold. Taking a bottle of propane, adding a flexible hose to the hard nozzle allows one to bend the end around to different places, like under the intake manifold. The engine will speed up when sucking in the propane. I prefer this to carb cleaner and the like, esp. on hot manifolds. Dick |
