This leads back to the thread about ceramic coating the inside of headers and as far back as you can go on your exhaust system. It reduces turbulence and drag on the gas flow, thus increasing velocity and improving cylinder scavenging which in turn increases the air/fuel "charge". I've dealt with APT on a number of occasions.
