Mick---Your Pressure readings are a tad lw, but even enough so that the
engine should idle and run smoothly, other things being up to the task.
(Readings of 120 psi would be about right for this years CR)

The Black #5 plug might be from oil, rather than fuel. (Highest pressure
reading, and the back carburetor handles the last three cylinders, to a
large degree)
This spark plug may now be near death. Change it to see if the engine
responds better than it is now.

Does the engine misfire, or just anemic at lower rpm?

There is nothing else in your post to account for why it "runs best
after 35 mph." Know that this is not normal for the TR engine.

What should the compression be on a 74 stock TR6 engine? I am reading
#1--- 90
                                      #2---
105
                    #3--- 95
                    #4--- 95
                    #5--- 110
                    #6--- 105
engine runs the best at speeds after 35mph. also on cylinder # 5 the the
plug was black. All comments are appreciated.
