unknown plastic part from 1974 TR6?

I was cleaning out the parts box from the previous owner of my TR6.
I found a small plastic piece with two  mounting tabs on each side
and a front bezel like a scoop in the front. I am not sure if it is something
from my Triumph
or not. I will scan a image of the part and send it out. please contact me and
