Folks,
I posed this question last winter. The most prominent message in all the
responses I received was a warning: original TR paint jobs are
notoriously inconsistent in coverage- particularly in the area of the
biggest body creases- fenders front and rear, where the paint is very
thin. EXTREME care must be taken when machine buffing in these areas, as
the slightest inattention or excess in pressure will effectively remove
said thin paint.
