I own CC80171 (1972) and it has the ammeter, so the switch must have started 
with the CF series.  Also, mine has the 35 amp Delco unit with only 3 wires.  I 
think the concern with the 60 amp upgrade are the leads to the battery/starter 
and possibly the IND lead; to be completely safe those should be replaced with 
at least 10(?) gauge wire.
