Electrical Conundrum

Dear List,

Yesterday my turn signals, fuel gauge and engine temp. gauge all 
stopped working at the same time. Everything else seems fine 
(headlamps, glovebox light, radio, etc. etc.). I've checked the fuses, 
bulbs, etc. but before I go further (pulling the gauges, etc.) I wanted 
to check to see if anyone knows of any reason why these three things 
would be connected. Is there some point in the wiring harness where 
they are linked?
