Welcome Steve!
Vance is correct about the TRF catalog. It's invaluable showing how parts go
together. I'll try to point you in the right direction, but as Vance pointed
out, sounds like some parts are missing.
1. The crankcase vent hose is connected at the valve cover but just routed
under the wheel well. It's dry, so little/no blow-by.
This should go to the carbs. There is a fitting on the manifold side of each
carb towards the front of the car. This hose tees of to these and to the top
of the charcoal canister.
2. The hose from the brake booster is connected to a threaded fitting that
is
mounted on the intake manifold. There is a 2nd 3/8" nipple on the fitting
that
is just capped off.
The brake booster hose is connected correctly. The 3/8" nipple should have a
hose going to the charcoal canister.
3. The LH carb has a 1/4" nipple on top that is capped. Both carbs have 1/8"
capped nipples on the RH side which are capped.
Not sure what the 1/4" nipple is. Mine has a 1/4 nipple on the bottom of the
rear carb, this should connect to the vacuum retard on the distributor.
Actually, it should go to a thermal switch on the top radiator hose, and
from there to the distributor. The 1/8" are the ones that connect to the
valve cover breather.
4. Finally, there is a gizmo? (what is it?) connected to the intake manifold
by a 1/2" hard pipe. It has a 1/4" nipple sticking out of the top that is
capped.
Is this at the rear? If so it sounds like the heater valve has been removed
and capped off?
In addition to Vance's suggestions, I'd add a Bentley manual. It's way
better than the Haynes and most of the time, it's correct.
