Car shippers

I'm interested in shipping a TR6 from Oklahoma to NY. I'm getting prices 
that are pushing $1000.00. This is for an "almost" running project car, 
so $1000.00 is a significant amount of money considering the value of 
the car.

It's 1344 miles. Can anyone suggest a shipper in the less than $0.50 per 
loaded mile range?

This isn't a Bugatti, so if he scratches it, I won't be upset.
