The transmission to engine mounting uses several different size bolts, studs
and nuts. Can't help you with the list but IMHO this suggestion is better
as it clearly defines which size bolts go where and literally allows you to
familarize yourself down to the 'nuts and bolts' of your TR. See the
attached link (NFI). Rimmer has an excellent website that I often refer to
as they use factory part numbers and the exploded diagrams are very
comprehensive. By clicking on the part number in the section list it then
will tell you the size of the fastener.

There is actually a method to the cryptic factory part numbers but you'll
need to dust off your elementary school fractions lessons. 'HB' is a bolt
(with unthreaded section under head), 'HN' is a nut, 'WL' is a lock washer,
'HU' is a screw (thread all the way up to the head) and so on. The number
suffix works like this: HB916 = '9'= size of hex head (NOT THREAD SIZE) in
sixteenths of an inch = 9/16; '16' = length of part in eighths of an inch =
16/8 or 2 inches. To get the actual thread size subtract 3/16 from the hex
head, so this is a 2 inch long 3/8 thread bolt . Another example = HU812 =
5/16 thread X 3/4 inch long screw.
It may seem confusing at the moment but work with it often enough and it
becomes somewhat easier as you learn the system.
