Hugh,
I am attaching a picture of the right front differential mount on my car as it
was being replaced. Unfortunately, I neglected to take any pics after it was
completed. However, the picture I am sending I used to illustrate the repair I
did to my car for another lister. In the picture you can see a green outline
which represents where the reinforcement plate goes and its rough shape. I am
also attaching a word document that contains the template for making your own
brackets. TRF wanted $15 for each bracket. I was lucky enough to have a
friend make mine for me but I suspect a welding shop could produce them for
less than $60. One word of caution, make sure you inspect everything well in
order to determine the extent of the damage. The right front mount is the
first to go, then the left rear next. In my humble opinion, the most important
two mounts to reinforce are the right front and left rear, in that order since
they receive the most torque. However chances are if the right front stays
strong the left rear will be just fine.
This may be as clear as mud so if you need more info, dont hesitate to ask.
Cheers,
Aaron
