Howard,
Obviously the commission number will tell the story, but I'm wondering if
the seller is reading the VIN plate that has something about passing
emissions as of Feb 1 1968(something like that?) I have this plate on my
TR250.
I believe the Early TR6s had fender beads on the Rear fenders as well.

I am going this weekend to look at a TR6 that the seller's agent claims
to be a 1968. Can anyone give me or point me toward a listing of commission
number ranges that I could use to determine the manufacture date? I am
interested in the car and have plane tickets to go look at it this Saturday
1/31/04. Any help I can get before then would be greatly appreciated.
