From memory, 750 watts (0.750kW) = 1HP. So to get the correction
factor, 1/0.750 kW = 1.33. I presume the difference is that my memory is
slightly off on the watts. I recall that 750 watts was not a precise
number, but very, very close. I would say that you may trust your
friends conversion factor of 1.34.

A friend of mine in Belgium has a supercharger setup in his otherwise
stock
TR6 which he had tested on a dyno. The reading taken at the wheels is
135 KW in
3rd gear at 5500 RPM's. He tells me to multiply that figure by 1.34 to
convert it to HP, which gives me 180 HP. Could anyone verify this ?
