I recall reading a while back that a specific electronic project box from
Radio Shack has an aluminum plate that matches the windshield-post VIN
plate on TR6's *exactly* -- you just have to remove it from the box, stamp
your numbers on, bend it slightly over a dowel for correct curvature, and
pop-rivet it on.
Of course, now that the subject has come up, I can't find the specific
information anywhere. I've checked the archives (both 6-pack and the more
general triumphs list), the VTR maintenance page, and J.B. Zimmerman's page
at www.tr6web.com
Can anybody else find what I'm referring to?
