VIN on Windshield post

Hello all,
As regards the VIN on the windshield post, I have seen them on a few very
nice TR250's at TRF. I am not too sure when this practice began, but there
was still one attached to the '70 TR6 rust bucket I picked up a few years
ago. I believe some just removed them or they got broken off over the
years. They represent another little concours detail for those so
inclined!
CD255 didn't have its tag on the post, although it does have the body
tag,etc.
