I made the conversion this summer and everything went smoothly until I turned on the engine and had sparks flying everywhere. The blades on the bosch unit are a little longer than the Lucas and consequently just hit the mounting bracket. I turned the bracket around and moved the spacer. The unit now fits perfectly, no sparks and lots of amps for stereo, wipers, lights and heater at the same time, which was not uncommon this summer in Ontario. Stuart 76 Carmine |
