Richard---I've come across a couple of these pipes that accumulated rust... especially near the corners. A clear or new pipe has an ID larger than what you describe. Try rodding it out or replace it if it then looks too thin. It's good to open the heater valve once a month or so to get fresh coolant circulating for a minute thru this otherwise blocked-off area of the system. Dick |
