WOW-just got back from Triumpfest03 at the Misson Inn in Riverside, Ca. Seeing
all of those wonderful 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 250's, 7, 8, Spite's, Saloon's, 1949
2000's and the token 73 MGB was sooooo neat! Hat's off to the two ladies that
drove the MGB down from Reno for this event! They were a real Hoot!!
Wonderful time...good food...great people and a very nice setting!
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dick Taylor!!! He is every bit as nice of a
man and knowlegeable of the Triumph as you would expect!! And WOW you should
see his '73' TR6!! He has only owned it for a short time..... (30 years)....
and it looks like the day it was picked up from the Dealer! Nice job Dick!
On the way home on our imfamous 91 Freeway there was a 1964 TR4 IRS in the lane
in front of me doing 85 MPH.....I couldn't keep up with him or catch him!!! I
wonder what that car was smokin'!!!!
A GREAT day here in So. California for our Triumph's, weather was perfect
(about 85) not to much traffic and a wonderful visit to the fabulos Mission
Inn, in Riverside, California!
Now, I'm going to go look at all the pic's I took of those cars today!
