Hi Jim,
The 3-way valve I installed before the fuel filter, mounted on the
driver's side frame rail, next to the tranny offers me the quick feature
of, 1. draining my tank if necessary with a flip of the handle, or, 2.
isolating my fuel line while I change out fuel filters. It's really a
little luxury, I guess.
The vertical tears are on the meaty part of the diaphragms. Not on the
mounting areas.

Al,
What is the purpose of the 3-way fuel valve? And where exactly on the
diaphragms did you discover the tears?
Thanks,
Jim Davis
