When I redid my fuel/Evap loss lines on my 6 I ran the lines as original(I
think), I bent both lines 90 degrees up along the back left side of the spring
tower bridge to the tank. There is a hole there for what I believe is a spot
where one of those clips goes.
Another list member is now doing this same job and has photos prior to tearing
out the lines and his photos show the lines
running up the shock bridge. Piggott's book shows my installation. Anyone sure
of what is correct? mine a 1973 his a 1974.5
