Ryan---U-joints take on a different attitude when the car accelerates. Eventually the noise you hear will be there, or possibly vibrate the drive train, even when the car is "flat". Look for rust around the area where each of the six u-joints reside. Turn each shaft forward and back. A good light usually helps spot this condition. Dick |
