        Doug:

I picked up a brass drain tap at my local hardware store for about $3.
You will need a propane torch, some flux and solder. You must have the
radiator completely empty (I removed mine from the car).
I put mine in the rear, bottom left corner. DO NOT attempt to
drill the hole for the tap. The radiator is brass, and it is so soft
it will not drill, it will tear instead (Ask me how I know). I would
suggest an ice pick or a sharp nail to punch a pilot hole, then
ream the hole to the correct size (I used a rotary file in my drill).
Make the hole large enough to allow the tap to "thread" into the radiator,
apply some flux, then heat with the torch and solder it in.
If you tear the brass, you can bend it back together, and it will
solder up just fine to seal the leak. I recommend that you avoid this
little problem, however =:-o

What's the best way to add a drain tap to a radiator?
