RE: sway bar bushing mounts

Mike,
The brackets were semi-gloss black and the u-bolts were natural, or
steel color. The skid pan and chassis were semi-gloss black also I
believe.

I am going to replace the sway bar bushing clamps on my blue money pit.
The 
car has been repainted so the old clamps are body color (or should I
spell it 
colour).  Does anybody out there know if the clamps were originally body

color, unpainted, or some other color?  Thanks for your help
