I have a 74 TR-6 with a factory hardtop. The hardtop bolts
to the rear deck using two of the same bolts that hold the
convertible top frame. So yes the ragtop needs to be
unbolted.....but not *removed*......I just leave it stashed.
..been stashed for 13 years...;-)
