Gary - having heard stories in the past and just completed installation
of all seals, glass, regulators, etc., I can say that with the proper
little handmade tool, the job is no problemo. Fashion a "J" shaped tool
using about 1/2" wide bar with the hook of the "J" sized to hold the
clip snugly. The tool should be about 6 to 8 inches long so you can
grip it well. A hook on the opposite end of the "J" helps. Hold the
seal in place, lower the clip and tool into position and then pull up on
the tool sliding the clip onto the seal and the lip of the door at the
same time. Voila! Once you do a couple, you'll need a helper to keep
feeding you the ammo.
